On April 5th, 1926

Our Father, Charles Samuel Gardner

was born in Oklahoma. A gentle Man that we

did not get to spend much time with, or really know.

He had 3 Children, Karen, Melody & Dave. He is missed

my many. A Brother, Father, Grandfather, & a great Grandfather.

I picked the song (The Climb) for this page for my

Father because I feel like his life here was a climb.

Always' mountains to move. Us kids are very strong

and have a strong will for life. I feel in my heart we

got that from our Father. His life was a hard one, as

well as our lives without him. As we celebrate his

Birthday April 5th, we miss him and love him. On

January 2nd, at the age of 47, our Dad went to Heaven.

 US kids did not have very many pictures of our Father, but the

few we have we cherish. Our Father was laid to rest in

Kansas City Missouri in January of 1974 at Floral Hills Memorial

Autumn



The leaves are falling all around

It lands so gently on the ground.

This is part of God’s plan for the autumn season

The leaves must die for only one reason

New life will begin in the spring

Nature’s birth God will bring.



Our child has died but we don’t know why.

We grieve, we mourn and we cry.

New life arrives everyday

We want the life lost we say.



Just as God has a plan for each season we know

There has to be a direction we should go.

Lost and tormented we wobble along

Searching and looking for where we belong.



Normal is a different word now

It’s not the same it’s astray it’s fowl.

What do we do where do we go?

We know for sure, we don’t know.



Our hearts are heavy a ridden with sorrow

Only to wake up and start a new tomorrow.

The same thing goes on in our hearts

We mourn, we grieve for the one who did depart.



In circles round and round we go

Where we stop nobody knows.

When does it end, this agony and pain

We’re on our knees praying to stay sane.



Seasons come and seasons go, it will never end

So too I believe is our sorrow blowing in the wind

Whirling around with no control in sight

Will it stop will life ever be bright?
